    Surround sound not working on certain games on the Xbox (beta) app.


    Hey, so just today I installed the xbox (beta) app for Windows 10 and subscribed to Xbox game pass. However I've noticed that certain games simply won't have surround sound. So far I've played Gears 5, Super Hot and Dead Cells. Of these, only Dead Cells
    had surround sound.

    I'm using a Logitech G930 headset and I haven't had any problems with surround sound in any other applications such as Steam games, Origin games, Discord or Google Chrome. I'm not really sure what the issue could be and I'm kind of getting frustarted as
    I was looking forward to playing some of these games.

    I'm sorry, but I'm having a hard time understanding exactly what it is you're suggesting here. I double checked that the games were using my headset for audio output if that's what you were suggesting, but that didn't really fix the issue.

    Hey, so I reinstalled the Xbox (Beta), no luck there. I wasn't sure what drivers you were talking about so I updated my Geforce driver and checked that my logitech software was up to date, which it was. That didn't fix the problem either.

    Hi there

    I have noticed some problems myself with this type of thing, But there is sometimes drivers conflations I noticed with my problem similar to what you are describing here I would suggest double checking and only allowing the selected you want to be accessible
    to see if that solves the problem.

    Surround sound is only currently available from a DVD or Blue Ray. The Xbox One will not pass your cable surround sound through to your home theater receiver, it will only be stereo. There is a beta for this:
