    Surround sound beta not working w/Comcast Cisco RNG-200N cable box


    I can't get surround sound from my Cisco RNG-200N to Xbox One to Sony A/V receiver (Sony STR-DN1040) to work even though I have 'Surround sound beta' turned on. When I plug the Cisco RNG-200N directly to the A/V receiver it works just fine, it indicates
    Dolby Digital surround and I can hear sound coming from my rear speakers. I've and to disconnect the HDMI passthrough for the time being but would like to fins a solution to this issue so I can enable this again. Thanks.

    Help with Cisco 9865HDC cable box!!

    My Xbox one will not control the Cisco 9865HDC cable box. I even bought IR blaster to set in front of cable box and it still will not control it. The xbox will control my tv and surround sound though.

    HDMI passthrough freezes (dropouts?)

    I have AT&T U-Verse. I was having issues with not being able to watch TV in surround sound. If my cable box was set to surround, I could not watch SD channels. But NOW!! I FIXED IT!! I switched the cable box from the WIRED Motorola to the WIRELESS Cisco
    box. and the Cisco cable box works flawlessly with the Xbox one. I have full surround, full 1080i, AND I am able to flip through the SD channels with without any freezing. So... if anyone one is listening... if you have AT&T U-verse, use the wireless, black
    Cisco cable box on your Xbox one! NOT the grey Motorola boxes!

    TV freezes live, changes ratio, etc

    One additional note if you have Surround Sound set on your cable box and or have the Surround Sound BETA box checked on the XBox One please set it back to stereo on your cable box and uncheck that box if it is checked on the Xbox One.
