Surface RT can't find Xbox One, but iPhone can...

I'm having this problem too in my Surface RT Tablet, still can't find any solution...

I am using the windows surface 2 RT tablet is it on that yet because I can't find it in the store

if you poke around a bit more you might even find a cheaper win rt tablet. surface is still a bit high even with the current price drop. also a new generation of surfaces will be launched soon so this one should get even cheaper. a big reason surface hasnt
taken off is dell, asus, toshiba, and plenty of others finally jumped into the rt tablet market with some cheap options.

also with win rt is i believe a stripped down version of office comes with it which should be adequate for your kids in school. this may only be the surface version though.

Hello @yuji benOire. What region are you signed into your Surface RT tablet with? The Xbox One SmartGlass application is only available in the regions that the Xbox One console has been released. Perhaps this is why you are unable to find the application?

For the Xbox One controller to work on Windows RT there has to be a driver made for it. At the moment, I don't believe there is so you can't use an Xbox One controller.

As for your Xbox 360 controller, it's wireless. It will remain wireless even if you use the play and charge. Unlike the Xbox One controller, the 360 wireless controller can't be made wired by using a play and charge. If you want to use an Xbox 360 controller
on a Surface RT, it needs to be a wired one.
