Surface Book 3 lag while gaming, has been going on for many months now.

My Surface Book 3 has never had any problems running games (Genshin Impact, CSGO, osu! etc), but a few months back, has started to have significant lag while running these same games. I used to be able to run high graphics with 60 frames on Genshin but now I am at a constant 20-30 frames at any graphics setting. Extremely laggy while turning sharply in CS and genshin. These games could run extremely smoothly at 75 fps on my monitor and there was no sign of performance slowly deteriorating, it just suddenly became super laggy.

I have installed and uninstalled these games many times and ran anti virus software, but the problem has not been resolved.

My Surface Book 3 is the 13.5 inch, 16GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Would appreciate any help given.

Edit: Would like to mention that the performance is similar/slightly worst while on my main screen, so it is likely not an issue with my monitor.

Ok, you could try to check for any updates on every service on your PC and also the OS.

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services.

Another thing you could try is to restore your Surface's OS via the ISO image tool.

Using that tool you will be able to maintain your installed games and files.

Me too. I can't sign in with Microsoft Jackpot on my Surface Book, but the game works fine on my Surface 3. Deleting and reinstalling the app on my Surface Book made no difference.

No not on a surface 2, maybe on a surface book but it still has integrated graphics. Infact windows 10 will only support 1gb and higher ram devices in about a month or two with the anniversary update. So you might have to get a new device

No offense but their website is less than helpful while it is your store. It's been around 3 months and neither group has answered the question many people including myself has asked. If it was one game fine but the developer has been entirely removed. Some of us paid money into this game and just want info.
