    Supreme Commander 2 Xbox One Multiplayer


    I’ve just downloaded Supreme Commander 2 on my Xbox One console and I want to play with my friend. He also has an Xbox One, but before we buy the game on his console, we want to make sure multiplayer will work.

    I noticed when i bought the game that the store did not advertise it as multiplayer compatible, and i’ve read in other forums that players were having issues with multiplayer between Xbox One and Xbox 360, but I have no idea if it will work for two people
    playing on Xbox One.

    Can anyone shed some light on this? Has anyone done this successfully?

    Supreme Commander and Supreme Commander 2 are fantastic RTS games. I would of said Lord Of The Rings Battle For MidEarth but stupid EA shut the servers down.

    I tried the direct-to-modem connection, and I was able to download content other than Supreme Commander 2 and play multiplayer over Xbox Live. I also attempted to download SC2 again while on the modem with no success.

    Since it's 360 content, you would need a credit card or Paypal on file in order to "purchase" it from the website. In order to do so without adding a payment method, you would need to purchase it on the 360.
