    Supposedly need an Update....


    So, this garbage pile of a console called the Xbox One keeps kicking me offline, saying I need an update.

    I go to update, it tells me Microsoft's famous last words "Oops, something went wrong.", and informs me I cannot use my Xbox until the update is applied.

    I then get back Online after a hard reset and it tells me no update is available when I check System Settings.

    installing hd problems

    Supposedly the update won't install on the 4GB flash drive it has. It needs a proper hard drive to install the update.

    That was supposedly fixed two weeks ago with the Jan 15 update.

    I'm getting the same thing. After a hard reset, does it continue to tell you it's time to update?

    If your not in the preview program you will not get an update until it goes live to the public, if you are in the preview program then you should post there.

    I'm in the preview program as well. I've done all the trouble shooting steps an it'll let me go online like there isn't an update play for like 5-30 minutes and give me the same issue.

    Im also getting this message, im part of the preview program aswell. Did a hard reset and can log back in only to get the update message if i try and do anything, checked to see if there was an update available in the menus but nothing.

    Sorry to hear about the issue! Since you are participating in the Preview Program, you will need to make a post in the Preview Forums. This way the proper folks can address the
    issue. You should be able to access the Preview Forums now. If you run into an error accessing the forum again, please let us know.
