Supposedly free games?

how is browsing my homepage today and when I saw that Battlefield 4 was listed as owned on my console, never mind the fact that I never purchased it for Xbox One, however I do own a physical disc version for the 360.



I saw the same thing occurred with the original Titanfall, having been under the same circumstances as Battlefield.



While installing these two games I noticed that a couple games like NHL 2017 and Need for Speed were listed as owned as well I'll be at I do not I own a 360 version of Need for Speed nor am I aware of a 360 version for NHL 2017.



I am not a member of EA access, but is there a possibility I am receiving EA Games without purchasing them for the Xbox One? I have not started Battlefield 4 or Titanfall 1 yet so I do not know if the games believe themselves to be owned on the Xbox One
never mind what the store says.



I hope someone can explain this so that I can know if I am breaking any contracts, or laws for that matter, in installing these, or if maybe there is a glitch in the system.

Supposedly Region Free?

maybe it is just a faulty game? there has been no reports of it not saying it is region free and nothing on my US Boxes say any Region on it like they do on certain Blu-ray movies ( USA is region 1 i think for Blu-ray movies or A something like that)

Thanks for all the help guys... My xbox was off and unplugged for 5days while I was away on holidays. the US game was the first game in when I turned the machine on, it came up with couldn't read disc. Since all your feed back I have just gone and tried
again with Forza to make sure the drive (pardon the pun) is ok. The put in the US game and it worked first time.

 

EA Access is free through the 18th as part of E3.

 

Would that cause the store to claim that I 'own' those games?

 

yes until the free trial is over unless you extend it or purchase it at the ea pass discounted price
