    Supposedly Backwards Compatible Xbox Original Game (Phantom Dust) Not Working


    I recently bought a copy of Phantom Dust for the original Xbox online. The copy is NTSC (not PAL, which is apparently incompatible), so it should work fine with my Xbox 360. My Xbox 360 is updated to the most recent firmware and I'm able to connect to Live,
    and I have a normal 360 hard drive (not a USB stick or something). This game is supposed to work, so why doesn't it?

    xbox updates and first gen. xbox games.

    Original Xbox games will not play online after April 15, 2010. If you are talking about not working at all there are certain games that are not backwards compatible.

    Will Fifa Football 2005 work on a 360?

    If this is an original xbox game then no,it's not backwards compatible.

    Favorite under the radar xbox 360 game?

    It's not 360 but Phantom Crash was the most fun I've had playing an offline only, single player game on the original Xbox.

    And it's backwards compatible on the 360. Not the One, unfortunately.
