Support regarding usb-drives

I was just in contact with the support chat about problems we are having with using a usb-drive with our Xbox 360 S-console, 4gb. The support person acknowledged that there are major problems with the usb-drives, but could only repeat what is already said
in the support pages that they "are working to correct this". Then he recommended that we buy a hard drive for 129 USD instead from the Xbox-store, and just disconnected me from the chat without so much as a goodbye. What kind of support service is this? I've
spent so much time trying to fix this now, my patience with xbox is completely finished. Will opt for Sony next time..

If anyone has any tips about how a usb can be made to work (that is not on the support pages) or another less expensive way of getting more storage, it would be appreciated!

Freeze issues

Any information regarding patches would come from the developer or publisher (EA).

If this same issue is happening with other titles you might want to try installing the game to a hard drive/usb drive and if the issue persists contact Xbox Support regarding possible hardware issues with your console.

What hypothetical feature/accessory would you like to see on the Xbox One?

I'd like to see Oculus Rift support, built in recording video/streaming services, and maybe native USB support for something like an external hard drives.

just because not supported at launch does not mean prepare for doom and gloom. My bet this is on their list, but it's one of the items that they can put a little lower down the list because everyone should be set with the 500g for a little while, at least.

SATA 3 is has faster transfer rates than USB 3 does atm, but even so the internal HDD connection is SATA 2 iirc. Even then you may not even achieve near full bandwidth across the USB 3 port as your external drive may not be able to transfer at that speed
(anyone who thinks a SSD through USB is a good idea is a moron) due to the drives rpm. Not only that if you have a bad cable you won't achieve speeds faster than USB 2 even if you have a SSD with a USB 3 cable and a USB 3 port.

Rippen so what you helped design the xbox one and know for a fact if it was pushed more power from an external it wouldnt push it through the system faster? You must have the only xbox one since you sure seem to know alot about how it for sure works lol
