Support guided me here.

Hello all,

well, my son got scammed, by buying a code for Microsoft currency (he thought, he wanted to new Plants vs. Zombies game), but instead he bought a 48 hour xbox live trial code for 30 euro's.

Support has all the info on the scammer (his e-mail and such), but told me to open a thread here. Not sure why though.

Not sure if I should/can post the e-mail of the scammer here as well, so I won't for now, unless 1 of the support people tells me to do so.

Paypal won't refund the money, cause my son bought ''virtual goods''. And since 30 euro's is a big deal in hour family, we can't just go out and buy new codes for our son. Does anybody have any tips on what I can do next?

Update: I had also posted this on feedback site (Imgur) but they said it's a support matter and re-guided me here.

 

Support typically sends people to the forums when there's nothing else they can do, but unfortunately there's nothing else anyone on the forums can do. Typically the only thing you can do in a case like this is to try going after the person you bought it
from.
