  1. Support for USB Soundbox (Third Party)

    Hey,

I have a question about support for USB sound box of Delock (Third Party).

I have a USB soundbox of Delock that currently with a USB cable is plugged into my computer. There is a 5.1 signal to my speakers, in the future I would like to have a 7.1 setup. If I use my Xbox one with an S / PDIF cable to an S / PDIF port on my Soundbox
in setup how it is now (5.1, USB cable to computer), does that work? I get sound from my speakers and a 5.1 signal?

Sorry for my poor English and my unpronounceable name (I am Dutch xD).

    Thank you in advance!

    Sincerely,

Speakers: Logitech z506 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers System with 3D Stereo

    :)

That would be because you used a third party cable. Microsoft cannot offer support for aftermarket products. If your HDD now reads as 32 gigabytes that means it's being seen as a USB drive and that's all it will be able to hold.

You will have to buy a new HDD. Next time don't cheap out and buy third party products.

is there a way to be able to keep using the old memory unit ....

There are third party USB to Memory Unit cradles out there. They only work with Corona model consoles (first generation 360 S), and only on the front two USB ports. Trinity consoles dropped original MU support via the front two USB ports.

    microphones

The Dashboard team added support for third party USB webcams so that is why you are finding that they work whereas the same is not true for USB microphones except for maybe the Xbox specific branded USB mic.
