    Headset compatibility can vary from headset to headset but when you get a chance check out this page

    Connecting Compatible Headsets    . From experience, I have seen some people having issues using Beats but if it matches the requirements on that page I linked you should be ok.

    I just ordered a

    -Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter

    -FC23 Replacement (Black) iSoniTalk Cable Monster Beats by Dr. Dre Studio Solo HD

    so I can use my SOLO HD Beats as a headset. I've read a lot about them and it seems to work if you replace the beats audio wire with the FC23 wire and plug it into the Adapter. I am going to try it out and I will reply once I find out for sure.

    Do the beat's earbuds have in-line controls? If so, that's probably the issue. I've found earbuds with in-line media controls to be pretty hit-or-miss when it comes to the issue your experiencing there.
