    Hi

    I currently have a monitor that does not support 2K at 120hz, but it does support 2K at 144hz

    Is it possible for MS to allow 2K 144hz support on the xbox series X?

    I was playing 1080P 120hz on the xbox one x so I do not see why the extra 24hz from 120hz to 144hz making a big difference on the game, but this will make a big difference to me as I will need to go and buy a new monitor.

    If this post is in the wrong place please do not just close but copy to the correct place on my behalf and let me know - this website is like spaghetti.

    Xbox one X 120 HZ using 1440P

    I have triple checkt it, 2.0 hdmi 1440p @ 144hz

    Some monitors only support DP display port up to 144hz but that is not the case, I've done my research

    No as you need a newer console

    If you mean 144hz then yes you can use 120-144hz thru vvr and Vsync and as long as your monitor supports it via hdmi 2.0

    The game will never run at 120fps with your current hardware

    Are you sure its thru hdmi or dvi?

    If it doesnt support 1440p and 144hz thru dvi it probavly most likely only does 120hz over hdmi just a fyi very few monitors support 144hz 1440p over hdmi
