Supplementing Credit card purchases with money on account

I was trying to buy gold in world of tanks 360 and i had insufficient funds for the purchase with the funds on my account. I want to use the credit card on file and supplement it with the money on the account, but i can't find the option for that. I have
done this before and would appreciate the help.

Can you but Cash card with money already on you microsoft account, i dont want to use a credit card!!!!

i have correct money on the account but they want billing address and credit card detail yo purchase when bought money in gamestop to put on my account, i dont want to be messing around with credit cards. ill have a look on what you said though.

Pay with account and credit card

You have to start making the purchase with your credit card. It will ask if you want to use the remaining money on your account first (the $50) and then it will charge the balance to your credit card.

In order to do a split payment, you have to start the payment with your credit card and it will ask if you want to use the remaining funds in your account first. Keep in mind though, that not everything can be purchased using a split payment method so there
is a chance your card could be charged for the entire amount.

Gold can only be purchased via credit card/Paypal or by purchasing a prepaid gold card in a store. It is not possible to use the money in your Microsoft account to purchase gold.

The gift card for the credits may have put money on your account, so you can purchase the credits from the Xbox store. Check your account, and see if money has been put on it. If it has, then use it to purchase from the store.
