Discus and support Superhub 2 and connecting to xbox live issue (Xbox One) in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Basically since my ISP changed to virgin and we have started using super hub 2, I've had an issue with games such as Battlefield , Fifa 14, Forza etc...   1. Superhub 2 and connecting to xbox live issue (Xbox One)


    Basically since my ISP changed to virgin and we have started using super hub 2, I've had an issue with games such as Battlefield , Fifa 14, Forza etc where I get kicked offline whilst playing matches etc.

    I have tried port forwarding with a static IP,

    checked IP sec or whatever on the virgin ip settings page

    restoring my xbox etc, disconnecting, changing between 2.4ghz and 5Ghz

    I know this is a problem with virgin and Xbox which is on going but has anyone found a fix, Virgin have been useless and just offered me solutions such as port forwarding as have Xbox, going to a wired connection simply ISNT an option but I'm aware this
    fix doesn't actually work.

    I feel like I have been scammed by virgin and Xbox making us pay around 500 pound for games , consoles, live and I can't even play the games online. I see this being a problem which both parties Xbox and Virgin refuse to recognise for a good few months until
    next Gen consoles become the main consoles.

    The issue has been escalated to Technical Resources who are investigating connectivity issues in the IPv4 Protocols of the Xbox One between Virgin Media' Superhub 2 and Xbox One.

  3. Disconnect of xbox live alot Virgin Media UK

    its the xbox nothin nothing to do with superhub, i have 2 different modems and its the xbox 360 and xbox live.

    Loads of people been having problems with connection issue, getting dissconnected from xbox live for no reason. Just goona buy a ps3 and then i can play viva pinta 2

    Greetings PixieMel94!

    Since there is an ongoing issue with wireless connectivity between the Xbox One and Superhub 2 (Netgear VMDG485), I would recommend that you stick to your wired solution (Ethernet).

    Is your Superhub 2 the upgraded version (Superhub 2AC) or the older version (VMDG485)?

    Another issue with the Superhub 2 has to do with IPsec being disabled by default. IPsec provides a security mechanism for Tunnel or transport mode and since its services is in conjunction with the Teredo tunneling protocol, it is important that you enable
    IPSec Pass-Through mode on your gateway.

    In regard to your smartphone and tablet being disconnected and unable to re-establish connectivity to your wireless network, I would recommend that you reach out to your ISP and have them know about this situation. It may be an issue in your home, related
    to electromagnetic interference (EMI) or radio frequency interference (RFI), or a faulty gateway.

    Hi,

    I am also facing the issue.

    Again, I am with Virgin Media, using their Superhub 2.

    I get kicked out of Advanced Warfare games 90% of the time due to lost connection, yet my connection is working fine.

    Firewall is disabled in my router settings.

    I have 2 Xbox One's in my home - both with the same issue.

    @Goldbar , the superhubs are well known for not maintaining a connection to xbox live , especially wireless ....a few have had luck if you change the wireless range , but a wired connection might be your only hope ....or , you can put the superhub in "bridge",
    then get a different router ...
