Super weird headphone problem. Please help me

So I was playing online today when the problems began. Everything was working fine with my head set I was in a game I could talk to everybody and hear them then all of a sudden I couldn't so I turned off the controller/ console and tested some stuff. So
apparently I can hear most stuff, I can't hear other peoples messages but sometimes I can but the audio is really really low so i can't make it out also I can't hear any noise when I hit the xbox guide button and nothing when I scroll through anything in the
guide (sometimes I can but it is soooo low barely can hear it) also I can't hear background noises or missiles locking on me in GTAO. etc.

tried all of the solutions listed above still didnt help... was also getting help from an official with step by steps and we still couldnt fix the problem
