Super Slow Speed When Downloading From Marketplace

Just chiming in to add another report. Three xb1 consoles affected, and it started yesterday with downloading bo3 beta on two of them. We thought the issue was limited to the beta, then my son tried redownloading the halo master chief collection.. Nothing
on the xb1 consoles is downloading quickly, even system updates (son again). World of tanks on the One does am initial small download to play each time, and that is taking forget now. Meanwhile the 360's are fine, even for the same title.

I've reset the modem, router, and consoles multiple times, and have tried using google's dns servers, all to no avail. Gotta be an ms issue, amd hope it gets fixed soon.

Honestly I have only had that problem when I downloaded fable. Which is currently freezing the whole system when I try to go to a certain area. It just nay be what you are trying to download. Also you may need to clear your cache it may help.

Isp is comcast, Virginia.

103 MBPS down, 13 MBPS up, 0% packet loss, 34 latency, on my console. Open nat (cone shaped, lol). Didn't check my son's, but he said they were similar. And downloads still slow.

 

ISP Comcast in Virginia, download speeds are at a stand still. Stats page shows 103 Mbps down, 12 Mpbs up, 0 packet loss and 94 ms latency.

For those in the preview program, please submit this through the Feedback app on your console. This will help out with giving more information to that team to help get at this from several angles.

 

Quinzel, there's clearly an issue, hundreds are reporting it via Twitter, reddit and the forums. Xbox Support says that they're receiving lots of complaints about it, and that it has been sent to management and the engineering teams, yet there's no service
alert, and nothing more than a forum post from what is effectively a support rep saying you're investigating.

This is not good enough.

 

Have been trying to download the BO3 beta since Friday afternoon. Got tired of waiting and downloaded it on steam yesterday afternoon. Xbox download still only 60% complete, steam download finished in under 2 hours(approx. same download size). Same network.
Both wired. Both using google DNS.

I just want to report back that I'm experiencing the slow download speeds again. It was only fixed for about an hour last night for me. I have sent you a PM Misses Quinzel with my advanced settings page.

 

TheJackah - Appreciate your input. While you may still be having issues, that does not mean others are. I am required to ask once I get in if I do not see updates from customers for several hours. Additionally, we'd appreciate it if you would let us do our
job in collecting information. If you are running into this, please follow the instructions I have posted throughout this thread so we can add you to the list of affected users.

I'm still having problems. It hasn't gotten any better. I will do a feedback report from my console since Im in the preview program, but here are my stats.

Region - East Coast(West Virginia)

ISP - Comcast

Download Speed - 152.90Mbps

Upload Speed - 12.10 Mbps

Ping - 20MS

FYI seems a bit better now. Was originally getting between .7-1.3 mbit/s in current usage screen. Seems to be consistent around 3.1-3.6 mbit/s now. Still no where near what it should be though. Getting 4+ MBps(bytes as opposed to bits) on Steam and 28+
on speed tests.

 

So Im still at a loss on this whole issue going on

It had appeared that things were resolved from Noon to 1pm est today because my bandwidth showed almost 10 gb downloaded then from 1pm to 2pm it was only capable of downloading 137mb!

For the record I have tried every thing everyone has suggested I hadn't done anything to make the download faster I simply had my xbox on and it improved itself.

If I try to change the DNS it wont. Ive tried the Power cycle and modem reset with it

Wireless Speedtest on computer shows 22 down and 10 up at 4pm Est

Test on phone connected to wifi showed 30 down 11 up at 4pm est

My bandwidth test once again changing between bps and kbps which is _#($&$&@) ridiculous

If this a preview program issue I hope a patch is coming out shortly I knew the risks but never have I experienced an issue like this
