Super slow downloads on Live today

Totally agree, ddos attacks are nobody's fault except for the ecumenical who doing the attacking. And there is nothing Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo can do to prevent it from happening other than sitting down the majority of the features we have and go back
to how Xbox live was on the original Xbox.

 

Yeah Sniper Elite 3 took all night to download. Even the Mosin Nagant camo pack to an hour or so.

 

I'm from the UK with 160 mb download and sniper elite took me a good 6 hours maybe more to download.

 

At the moment, things are downloading at the rate of about 2GB per hour, which is WAY slower than is usually is. I tried deleting and re-downloading [tag:IDARB] as a test, as that's a small 400MB game that would usually download in less than a minute and
it took just over 10 minutes.

 

I'd like to say "yes it was going slow" but I live in Australia! With our internet, everyday is slow!!!!

 

I think the brunt of the attacks were in America and Europe. The attack only lasted 3 hours but it was enough to take down certain core system features. Which explains why friends were not appearing as well as the problem of slow downloads.
