I would like to know which genius decided that there would be an app required to watch a dvd that doesn't come factory installed anyway. Here I sit without WiFi or cable and the only television I can provide for my daughter is staring at a blank screen explaining
that, because we can't connect to the internet, we can't download an application necessary to watch a dvd or two before our services are reset. Honestly ridiculous, I never recall having to install anything to watch a disc. I am utterly disappointed in how
quickly all resources went from maintaining the reliability and dependability of your consoles, to pursuing any given customers income.

Super disappointed Microsoft

That is something you would have 5o contact Wal-Mart about. You would have to get the game at the same time as the console so it would be discounted.

Don't be so sure! My dad easily fits into the age range of this thread and last year he discovered angry birds, all by himself as well!

He was even super disappointed when he changed his apple account details and lost all his progress, hahaha, oh father dearest.

Was Walmart a participating retailer of this deal? The ad for this says it is a promo offer at participating retailers. Did Walmart confirm that they are participating in this promo?

Ok for EVERYONE saying you blocked innovation and progress. Please stop drinking the green tinged water from where ever it is you get it. There was NO discernible innovation in features at all. It was nothing more then an attempt to get more money cleverly
disguised by vague talk and zero informative responses . Also the fact that they pretty much just flicked a switch to kill all your INNOVATION should tell you how gone it really is. They just flick the switch and its back. All your rights and ownership
and privacy gone. But hey thats innovation for you always trampling on the rights of people in order to make sure those people cough up more money ..... Oh wait .... Thats called Greed.
