    Hello there,

    For what feels like forever, I've been having an issue where every single time I create a Xbox account, whether straight through the Xbox console interface, or firstly on the web then recovered through console, 2-3 days later my account/profile is blocked
    and I'm directed to account.live.com to unblock and verify it.

    So, first issue is... what the hell? How come every single time I create an account, like clockwork and without fail, 2-3 days later the account is blocked? Literally, I create the account, screw around with privacy settings and whatnot, haven't even launched
    a single game, sent a message, or added anyone, and my account is blocked or flagged for some strange activity or whatever.

    Second issue, and undoubtedly the most frustrating: 'usage limit exceeded' when I go to have a code sent to a phone number to unblock my account. Time and time again, I've done this dance. Create account --> Account blocked, go to account.live.com to unblock
    it --> Type in ANY number to have the code texted to and... --> 'Usage limit exceeded'

    I want to clarify, when I say 'ANY' number, I mean EVERY SINGLE PHONE NUMBER I've ever submitted is denied. My number, my mom's number, grandmother's, girlfriends, etc. I got so damn frustrated one day that I straight-up called my provider (T-Mobile), and
    had them set up a secondary number so that I could get this issue resolved. Guess what? I used that BRAND NEW, NEVER BEFORE BEEN USED number, and it still said 'usage limit exceeded, try again tomorrow'. This is completely ridiculous.

    Now, let me just go ahead and say this: I've called Microsoft so many times, had so many cases opened and apparently submitted. I've asked the community, asked Xbox gamers, asked... whoever I could. The best answer I ever received was by an Xbox support
    agent who told me that this was an issue of suspicion, as I had created many profiles, all of which sharing the same contact/security email/phone number, and thus, going forward, any accounts with those bits of info would be flagged and therefore blocked automatically
    - a sort of... blacklisting system. Well guess what? I made a brand new account, completely randomized in every aspect and disconnected from any of my other accounts ever - still, 2-3 days after creation... blocked and no way to unblock it because every number
    I have is met with 'usage limit exceeded'.

    Dude...

    I looked it up, 'usage limit exceeded' only occurs when 1 of 2 things happens: 1. This phone number is used for too many accounts --> B.S. because I've used brand new numbers that have never had any connection with Xbox LIVE. 2. You have repeatedly used
    this number or requested the form to be submitted (kind like failing to enter the correct password too many times and you're locked out, in this case, it's recommended you try again tomorrow) --> Again, B.S. First time entering, BAM 'usage limit exceeded'.
    I've waited 24 hours, nothing, a whole week, nothing. What the actual hell??

    I don't know if this is some sort of glitch, some sort of technical error, or if I'm apparently blacklisted, not only through the means of my phone number/email account, but even my IP or console. This is ridiculous, and the fact that I'm being blocked for
    having done nothing is absurd. Not only am I being blocked without any seemingly notable cause, but I'm being denied from accessing and unblocking my account(s) because of the whole 'usage limit exceeded' notification that refused to accept and recognize ANY
    of my phone numbers.

    I am honestly beyond frustrated, and the numerous phone calls, message correspondents, and back-and-forth is really pissing me off. I have been a loyal Xbox LIVE player for more than 11 years, and this is absolutely perplexing.

    Here are the troubleshooting steps to rule out browser-related issues:

    Please make sure to use an up-to-date browser. (e.g., Edge).

    And then clear cache and cookies. make sure you check Preserve Favorites website data and check both, Temporary Internet Files and Cookies, and then click Delete.

    On the Delete Browsing History window, make sure to uncheck Preserve Favorites website data and check both, Temporary Internet Files and Cookies, then click Delete.

    Next is to allow all third-party cookies through browser settings.

    Please make sure that you have the latest version of the Edge browser.

    Kindly use an in private browser or incognito.

    When you'll be given the chance to continue and create an account please make sure to add a security information to the account a working email or phone numbers works.

    Cannot Reset Child Account Password.

    I have filled out said form with all the information I have, which I can verify was correctly entered on their account's creation because I can see it on the family portal - and it is still not enough to recover the account. The fact I cannot get access to a human to talk with about this issue at Microsoft is extremely frustrating. I've already cancelled my Xbox Ultimate plan which had been going for 3+ years over this, and will continue to not spend money in the ecosystem.

    you can't bypass it you are asking for two different things

    Account creation isn't Account security

    Completely separate

    You can set a pass code for your own profile whoever is the home console owner and whoever would have to use his own subscription as profiles has to be added to the home console

    Any content and subscription only applies to the home console not individual profiles
