I finally started playing this and I think it's great, I just get lost bouncing and grinding around, I was wandering for like what felt like an hour last night doing all the optional stuff and all of a sudden it's bed time!

and no, im not BSing. I tried finding someone to trade games with, but I had no luck.

 

It a good game. Very good I might add. But I played it on free 24 hours play. I must paid to played it again.

 

I'm going to try out the new weapons sometime this week, probably the weekend. I also plan on finally jumping into the co-op mode

I wonder if there's any story based Dlc planned?

 

^Yup, I believe there is if you check out the season pass content I'm sure it said something about that!

Chaos squad is pretty cool, but I wish they didn't make it so competitive and more of a cooperative play style. It doesn't make me want to keep playing it because I use the hair spray gun and feel like others don't have a chance at earning points, but if
I don't use it then I don't get any points.

Also if any of you guys want to upgrade your weapons really fast, replay the mission 'We're Getting the Band Back Together' and get to the part when you need to bounce on the drums. Ignore the objective and just bounce on a drum of your choosing and unleash!
You'll get ammo as you go, so just keep switching those weapons out.

I'm not joking when I say it took me just over an hour to level up 15 weapons....

You're right! Shortly after I posted they posted a new video about the latest patch and said more info on their story based DLC is coming. I can't wait for that!

I'll definitely run that mission back so I can level up my weapons, thanks for th heads up. Do you have any suggestions on getting Overcharge? I still have a few weapons and maps I need to buy?

 

i also used the "getting the band back together" mission to farm for OverCharge.

and i also wish Chaos Squad was a little more coop, and 4 player, 8 players in a small area is a little too much IMO.

 

You do get a bit of overcharge from the above weapon grinding method, but not much and to be honest, I never really had any issues with overcharge. I do still need two weapons for a total of 35,000, but they're really bad weapons in my opinion and I have
everything else.

If you haven't done the 50 challenges, they actually give a lot of Overcharge and majority of them are really simple. I think I got roughly 100,000 by doing all 54 of them, which gave me enough to buy a lot of the weapons I was missing.

Also chaos squad tends to give me overcharge more often then anything else at the end reward screen, I usually come off with 15,000 after most games.

I also suggest looking out for the truck icon on your map when grinding around, It's not much, only a few hundred each time, but it really does all add up, especially if you're on a collectable hunt or whatever.

 

i bought all the collectible maps and that took a ton of OC, and i only ran Chaos Squad a few times and got next to nothing, now that i've bought all the maps, and all the weapons i wanted, Chaos Squad is giving me a ton of OC now >_<
