Sunset Overdrive saved data lost. Is there a backup somewhere?

Had just about 15hrs of gameplay complete. Was just a few main quests from finishing the game. I turned my Xbox One on and noticed it was offline. Looked online and found some info about LIVE having issues. Went to launch the game to play anyways and
it launched me into offline mode which took me right to the very beginning of the game which I had no intention of starting. So I said Xbox Turn Off. Came back on later that evening and LIVE was working. Was at he main dashboard and launched into the game
which brought it to right where I was earlier then immediately a box popped up saying it couldn't save my game and press B to go back. I pressed B to go back and it took me to the title screen. Pressed A to load the game up and it started the game all over
again right from ground zero. Restarted my Xbox and the same. All my saved data for the game was gone. Went to a friends house and logged in with my account and let the save data sync and it was the same. Lost everything.

Contacted Insomniac Games on their forums and they told me to contact Xbox Support.

Data on hard drive corrupt

Hi there,

I'm afraid that if you didn't keep a backup on any other device that all the save data is lost since there is no way to recover it. Some games do save certain progress online, but any local saved games are most likely lost.

I accidentally pressed delete from everywhere for my saved data on Dark Souls 3. Can I recover it

I accidentally presses delete from everywhere on my xbox saved data because I was trying to press cancel. I sunk over 1000 hours into that game. Is there any way I can recover that data? An online backup somewhere or a way I can plug my xbox into a pc and
recover the lost data. Something?!

 

It should be saved to the cloud as long as you have no problems with connection when you start the game should sync up with the cloud if it doesn't try a boot up.
