Sunset Overdrive re spawn loop (game is stuck doing this even after quit app)

Has anybody gotten stuck I was fighting fizzle and I feel when I died because he at the ground I went to a portal first. Then I re spawn over and over again on the re spawn portal animation.....Even after quit the app I'm unable to escape the re spawn portal

What game are you most looking forward too?

I want to say Master Chief collection because of Halo 2 but Sunset Overdrive has caught my eye. The re spawn of Bill and Ted caught my heart and since I have kept my eye on that game.

It helps that the console is White with Sunset Overdrive so definitely a day one purchase for me.

It is very cool that they are doing this. Sunset Overdrive is ridiculous good fun. I also highly recommend Sunset Overdrive for those who have not had the opportunity to enjoy this game

 

I see in the video you can open the menus. Can you try either quitting or restarting the mission from there? Also try fast-travelling somewhere else on the map and see if it lets you.

Alternatively, try power cycling the console completely and then try the above steps and see if that helps in any way.
