Sunset overdrive issues not downloading

Hello,

ive bought the new Xbox one for Christmas and today have connected it to the Internet made a profile and began to add my free downloadable content (sunset overdrive & free 14 day xbox gold membership) at first they seemed ok and apeared to download correctly
but perhaps due to my lack of experience with the xbox all seems to have Failed as now I can seem to find where the game has downloaded to?

I've checked in all the apropriate places that you might think to find it but still nothing? Also have tried restarting the xbox and trying to reinsert the product codes but the Xbox picks up that its already been activated from the fist time I inserted
it?...

pretty clueless about bout the whole issue now but beginning to think that there might be an overruling issue with microsoft but not sure where to look for get started? Very frustrating! Help?

I have successfully purchased sunset overdrive and its not listed for my downloads. When trying to log into the chat it said that there are currently issues with downloading/buying games and installing already purchased games. the problem is being worked
on (whatever that means).

Hey there, so Sunset Overdrive was a code, correct?

Could you scrape away more on the card on which the code came? There should be a second code, this time for the game itself. It sounds like the first code was for some in-game DLC. Redeem that and the game should start downloading.

I did the exact same thing! The box on the back of the card is so big and I figured to I only scratch the card in the middle. Turns out the in game content code is in the middle and the game download is above it.
