Sunset Overdrive is 900p@30fps

Both can be compare to any other games on Xbox one.

If you need a PC to compare games,just play on PC ,it will always looks better (no surprise).

I was thinking about something,why give us the resolution on consoles,whatever devs choose we will be able to play it only at 720p (or under) or 1080p ? It's not like i can set my console and TV at 900p of whatever the resolution they choose.Kind of useless.

Devs are obviously incapable. It's golf. Destiny is 1080p, Forza is 1080p 60fps, FH2 is 1080p, Sunset is 900p, H:TMCC is 1080 60fps, and these guys are stuck at 720p 30fps like they have thousands of zombies onscreen ala Dead Rising 3.

The rumor mill is that it is either 720p/30fps or 900p/30fps

 

It's because there is a difference in quality.

Using your logic developers could simply make every game at 480p and let the hardware upscale it to 1080p. Why don't they do that?

I'll answer that for you......native 1080p games look better because the developers have designed the game for that resolution and aren't relying on hardware to do their job for them.

 

I don't understnad in which logic some ppl argue... How can 720/900 upscaled to 1080 be the same as a native 1080 really guys...u don't wanna see a flaw in the xbox one u wanna see it all rainbows and butterfly fine but come on lets be a bit factual

 

Xbox one was never advertise to be a native 1080p machine.

If you expected that or more ,it's better to play on PC.

 

The One has games that run at 1080p native res so I don't need to expect it...it does it.

The question is why don't they all and the topic of this thread was to much emphasis being put on 1080p at the expense of better gameplay/content.

 

It was advertised to be much more than 1080 or u forgot that they said it is 4k capable?!!

Plus i don't like gaming on pc thats a really useless argument about pc here or anywhere

Actually I'm going to an event here in Auckland, New Zealand where I'll be able to play it along with Halo: MCC, AC: Unity, Forza Horizon 2 etc
