Sunset Overdrive installing for hours

Initially it downloaded, my Son played the tutorial, and now for the last 4 hours it says "installing" ... will it eventually every work? This is from the disk by the way.

Xbox one bundle

I recently purchased the sunset overdrive bundle. But. when i try to install sunset overdrive it takes forever to install. I don't understand why it's taking so long. For 4 hours it's been downloading and it's at 22percent. And it says ready and then when
it says ready. I play it but then it says installing. Im trying not to return my Xbox but this *** is getting annoying

Here's what I would do... uninstall and reinstall. What I do with all new games during install is I wait until the game is completely finished installing before I play it.

I say this because it seems that every time start playing a game when it tells me "Ready to Play" and it's barely 1/4 install, I always run into some kind of glitch or error somewhere along the way and end up doing another uninstall/reinstall again.

Now, when I wait until install's complete, I find that I'm not running into those glitches or weird unexplainable situations. The game run's as intended.... so far.

Hey there DynomiteDobson8!

Sorry to hear about the Season Pass issue. Let's make sure it's not in the 'Ready to install' queue. Navigate to the Sunset Overdrive tile and press the menu button on your controller to get to 'Manage game'. When you're in the Manage Sunset Overdrive screen,
the 'Ready to install' group should have all of your digital items listed, including the Sunset Overdrive Season Pass.

Check there and let us know if you're able to download it!

If you're only waiting for an hour then you have no room to complain (no offense); I've been waiting for Sunset Overdrive to finish installing since 6 a.m. this morning and it's only at 30%... :'(
