Sunset Overdrive Goodies!

Unless I'm missing something after watching the latest trailer the game simply seems like nothing more than a kids version of Dead Rising. Somebody want to point me in the direction of the reason why this games hyped?

 

It looks lovely but I'm still not sure if it would be my kind of game

The only thing I'm not sure about is a minor nitpick - I don't like the "boost lines" or "tail wind" that trails behind the player a lot because it looks overly exaggerated and unnecessary. Otherwise, the game looks fantastic and I can't wait to see more.

 

This game, as of right now is a Mature Rated game. They even mention it in the video, although the esrb hasn't rated it yet.

And also during the game play you can hear the big mascot boss say something that will be censored on these forums.

"get ready to die ***"

 

Looking forward to seeing more gameplay at E3, I hope.

 

This game looks super fun. I want to see how zany the mp will be.

Sunset Overdrive Day One Edition Unveiled

I think they should've called it something other than "Day One Edition".

 

The game looks flashy and entertaining. i see videos in you tube the game play is similar to dead rising and crackdown.

 

Yep! Beat you to it Lofty ;-) but yeah, wonder why they went with Day One Edition? I want it tho! I agree with the comment earlier, the only nitpick I had was the Trail Line things, yuck!

 

This game looks a lot better than i thought...almost looks like the CG trailer they showed last year at E3....and reminds me of that playstation game infamous and dead rising with the powers and combo melee weapons in the game.

 

I'm hoping instead of a competitive MP that it will be a co-op type of mode or at least have something for both. I can definitely see a group of friends having fun with this game, very exciting.

 

I guess and hope both....

When i saw the big enemy,my first thought was: coop/horde.

And PvP can have classic shooting game modes but also races,parkour,grinds,all that fun stuffs.

 

When I 1st heard about this game I thought it was a Racing game ha ha
