Sunset Overdrive gameplay

Yeah its definitely going to be busy at the end of the year. I will probably pick the ones I want the most and then leave the others to fall down in price whilst I thrash the ones I have out.

 

The colours are very bright.

This is what they use to lure fish on a night and it appears to be working since all this game has done is promised you the ability to slide about like the Tony Hawk games without a skateboard while playing the role of a cartoonish teenager.

I'll say that this game definately has potential but right now there's nothing to get excited about.

"Gears Of War" and "Fracture" were both 3rd person shooters but only one of them was epic.

will need a bit more info before I'm prepared to join in on this Forum Gush.

 

I think the main reason I've been pretty hyped for this from the start is that it reminds me so much of Jet Set Radio, a game that I loved, probably be nothing like it lol but I can hope

 

To be honest,

This game looks like it lacks depth just like Jet set radio.

Jet set radio was ok, but no one ever completed it, it got boring quite fast it was just to repetative,

 

And apart from jumping on walls what has this got to do with "Jet Set Radio"?

There are no rollerskates.

No grafitti challenges.

No stylized cell shading.

I mean... OK... "Jet Set Radio" did take place in a city...

But that's where the similarities end.

Just looks like Tony Hawk nose grinding without the board really.

 

I can see how people can see similarities with Jet Set Radio with the bright colours and moving about the city but that's all tbh

The more I see of this game the more I'm looking forward to it. I like a game that tries and be different and this look like it will be a lot of fun.

 

It's the overall look of it that reminds me of Jet Set Radio the most, plus the way the character moves about the area.

Mind you I did see one recent video and it reminded me of a cross between Dead Rising 3 and Plants Vs Zombies lol

Does look very good though, I really can't wait for this.

 

Im unsold on this, I dont like fun.

Seems a mixture of a few games as Lofty already mentions. I don't really see anything new to the mix, but it looks fun none the less.
