Sunset Overdrive Bundle owners: do you feel gipped?

for a rare limited edition, it seems as if MS doesn't give a hoot for us. all I ask is to be able to buy a 2nd controller that is white. or at least give me the titanfall edition to buy. something that can match the system and not overpay for a "special
edition" like the call of duty or special forces edition. hell, they at least offer those controllers, yet for us we sit here hanging.

I don't see how hard it could have been because even I know many folks would buy a white controller even if their system was black or the CoD edition.

First people cry about sales and specials now they are crying about the color of controllers.

 

Personally, I don't think it's a slap to the face or anything of the sort, considering that owners of the Sunset Overdrive bundle received a free download code for Ryse: Son of Rome. It's clear that Microsoft cares about
that specific demographic based on that gesture alone.

I do understand wanting to buy a white controller separately though, as I'm in a similar situation. I don't own the bundle, but I would gladly buy the controller. If I had to guess, it's probably only a matter of time
before Microsoft sells the white Xbox One & its controller as standalone.

 

ryuse was for everyone who bought an x1. I was lucky enough that when I sent my preorder, a week later MS announced a $50 price cut and Gamestop honored that. I then in turn used the $50 to buy shadow of mordor.

I like to collect systems and to me, having matching controller is something I care for. maybe its my version of OCD, but I at least want a color scheme that matches my white and black system.

 

I don't feel gipped. Now if someone sees it and says "WOW!!!! You have a white controller!!!! That's (cuss word) AWESOME!!!!!!!! Where can I get one? " I can just say "Oh......You can't BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! "

 

No matter what deals or bargains Microsoft gives us, someone is always going to complain and look for negatives.

The white controller looks great. I'd love to buy one if they ever release them separately. If they don't, I shall remain jealous of those who bought the Sunset Overdrive bundle. It's awesome!

 

its not so much complaining, but if you're going to offer a limited series of something, wheres the accessories for it, even if its for a short time? im pretty sure the CoD isn't going anywhere. im sure its here to stay to compete with the destiny bundle
of ps4. and then the eventualy MCC bundle will come and back to square one.

Because that doesn't really make sense.

 

Well it is considered warranty voiding but you could always buy a white shell for a standard black one and make your own special edition white controller. You could also paint the black shell a whit colour or apply a white skin.

Is the OP upset because the bundle exists or is Microsoft making a White Controller that non-bundle owners can buy?

 

I always play games in a dark room so the color of the controller is a non-issue to me. I would imagine white controllers would be a available at some point though.

 

yes but I don't think its fair to wait a year or more for a white console and controller to come out for us to grab it. I mean how much more could it possibly cost them to get it made? id say cost is same as a black one. i mean even titanfall had a SE controller,
but then folks had an option then.

ok so how about at least selling me a titanfall controller then MS? lets compromise here.
