    Sunset Overdrive and Minecraft randomly downloaded for Free


    Hey there, So I was playing Lords of the Fallen and out of no where Sunset Overdrive ready to play pops up as a notification. I was like what? I figured maybe a demo was auto downloaded for some reason. I ended up trying Sunset Overdrive to find out it was
    the full game and unlocked achievements as well. I've never even looked it up in the store until it was downloaded and I played it and it says I still have to pay for it, Then yesterday Minecraft did the same thing. I am no Minecraft fan and would never buy
    it. So i'm assuming my account was hacked or something. I have no emails from Microsoft for anything about this and my bank account is unchanged with my linked debit card... So I've got no clue as to what happened and am kinda worried tho who doesn't mind
    free games especially Sunset Overdrive free on it's release day.

    Does anyone have an idea as to what I should do?

    Have you had any friends or anyone play on your console? If they set your console as their Home console, it would automatically download any games they purchase.

    If it was purchased from your account, you can check
    http://commerce.microsoft.com     to see if it shows in your transactions.

    As it still has full price quoted in the Store, it sounds as if it was not your account that purchased or downloaded the games, but still check your transaction history.

    Therefore I think the same as Smwutches -- if any friends have previously played on your console (or you bought it pre-owned) it is possible that someone else has your console set as their Home and when they bought the games elsewhere they downloaded to
    your console too.

    As this was probably unintended by the friend (as you had no knowledge of this), you will want to advise them to, on their own Xbox, go to Settings > Home Xbox and set their own console as the Home Xbox. The Home Xbox designation can only be changed three
    times per year.

    Sunset Overdrive is indeed free this weekend. You can play as much of the full game as you are able for 24 hours from 12:01 EST November 22.
