Sunset Overdrive Achievements not progressing

Hi,

Last Saturday my Achievements on Sunset Overdrive stopped progressing,

Things like collecting collectables kept stuck on the progress they were on Saturday, no matter how many collect.

Story progression based Achievements are also not unlocking.

Sunset Overdrive is the only game I have this issue with.

I've tried all steps described in:
http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/games/troubleshoot-achievements-challenges

As of yet, none of them worked.

Hopefully Xbox Support is able to help me.

810 Collectibles Collected and no Achievements!

I was watching a movie on Netflix the other night when an achievement unlocked. I thoght "What the heck was that for?" Turned out to be a Sunset Overdrive achievement and I'd not played for 2 days??

Achievements need fixed before they start adding new UI features,

On other note anyone know how to stop Sunset Overdrive recording clips like every 5 minutes

Have you tried power cycling your console? (Hold the power button for 10 seconds.)

Have you tried creating a new game save and then checking the progress of the achievements?

 

Hello Panda,

I've tried power cycling my console.

I've not yet tried to create a new game save, mostly because I was hoping I could continue with my current save (and progress).

I'll try that when I get home in a couple of hours.

 

So, it seems that creating a new game save will mean deleting my current game save, something I prefer saving as a last ditch effort, as I really don't want to lose my current progress.

I tried starting a new game with a different character, it seems that the Achievement progress on that account does work.

Afterwards I continued on my own account, and it seems it's progressing again, as my collected shoes went from 24% to 81%. Hopefully I can get Achievements now, thanks.

 

Sadly the already completed challenges do not count when completing them again, so it seems I'll have to restart the game to be able to get the Achievements related to challenges...
