Summer games

There's a lot of awesome games dropping in the next few months and over the summer.

What are you the most excited for?

I'm still super excited for ESO finally, may not be the next Skyrim but still its Elder Scrolls as well as Witcher 3 and then FFX-X2 on PS4

Also E3!! Can't wait to see whats coming up

Summer Spotlight vs. Summer of Arcade

I loved Summer of Arcade. It made me look at games that I may not have tried otherwise. Summer Spotlight is said to envelop the "spirit" of Summer of Arcade while involving all types of games, not just arcade games. I miss Summer of Arcade and I don't see
why they couldn't do both. Summer of Arcade seemed to take place when summer was nearly over. Summer Spotlight could (and should) happen much earlier, leaving time to also have Summer of Arcade. My fear is that Summer Spotlight wont actually involve good deals
on games, but instead just consist of MS marketing games to us at full price. Which would you rather have? One or the other or both?

 

Haven't recieved summer of arcade points

During the summer there was a promotion where if you bought three summer of arcade games you would get 400 microsoft points. Well, I bought three summer of arcade games and I have yet to recieve these points.

 

My gf is making me play Elder Scrolls so I have to be excited for that haha. The Witcher 3 looks sick, but we'll be waiting on that one. I'm not really excited for anything tbh. Arkham Knight looks pretty dang good too, but nah. I will still have an immense
backlog by then and 3 Batman games to start lol.

 

Definitely Witcher 3, not sure what else I'm excited for this year to be honest, Halo I guess? Haha.

I'll be spending most of the summer on Project Cars and whatever games end up on sale on the Xbox store. I've nabbed Metro Redux and Alien: Isolation recently. But as far as new releases go, Project Cars comes out next month and will have a much larger track
list than FM5. Huge player count in MP too. Super stoked.

 

There is nothing on my radar until The Division is released, I'm sure there will some a long the way, guess I'm looking forward to ODST, does that count? Might pick up ESO, but only because I have a few friends that want to play it.

Other than that, I already have a massive backlog to work on and a PS4 with the Last of Us on the way.

 

Nothing I can see in the pipeline and the only one I've got my eye on at the moment is Fifa but that doesn't come out until the end of September so that gives me plenty time to play my backlog of games I've barely touched!!

 

Project Cars next week, FF10 and then the Witcher 3. I have just picked up Halo MCC and Far Cry 4 will be picking up MK10 aswell so lots to play this summer.

 

@Mad Cow Dizease is that a new gamertag?? your driveatar was sorely vexing me in Forza Horizons last night!!! OT for me the only thing that excites me is Witcher. Will pick up Batman and maybe ESO.

 

I'm pumped for Elder Scrolls Online. I'm glad there's some decent games coming out this summer. Usually I'm desperate for a new game between June and August. I also need to finish Dragon Age. I've been saving it in my backlog for when I have some real time
for it.

 

Going to dive into The Witcher 3 which will keep me very busy until ESO which will then take over my summer most likely. Loved the Beta so it should, then that all leads to Mad Max when Summer comes to a close.

I still have a bunch of other games i need to get back to and even start too.

 

For this month it will be Project Cars and The Witcher 3. For the remainder of the year it will be Godzilla, God of War 3, COD BO 3, & Rise of the Tomb Raider.

 

The Witcher 3. I'm planning on doing every available quest and side quest etc so hopefully I get a lot of life out of it.
