    Suggestions for improving the Xbox cloud system (save games & streaming)


    I regularly use the Xbox cloud system, both for save games and cloud gaming. I've noticed a few things that could be improved:

    1. More control over cloud saves: - Ability to manually delete or back up individual saves - Version history or backup function for older saves
    2. Optimize cloud gaming performance: - Better server allocation for lower latency (especially in Europe) - Option to stream cloud games at a higher bitrate or resolution (e.g., 1080p/60fps)
    3. Cloud access to screenshots & clips: - Ability to directly access saved media in the cloud - Improved synchronization with OneDrive or the Xbox app These improvements would make the cloud system significantly more user-friendly and reliable
    4. especially for gamers who switch between multiple devices or are frequently on the go.

    The "cloud" does not hold water.

    /sigh

    Sony uses a different type of cloud called Gaikai. It is used to stream games

    Xbox uses Azure, used to store data and improve on the system processing abilities.

    Pretty sure microsoft has the only version of the cloud right now that has these capabilities, unless Gaikai go in to overdrive and completely change their cloud system (which will take a very, very long time)

    Xbox Play Anywhere game doesn't support cloud saves - but that's an integral feature!

    Cloud enabled refers to Xcloud game streaming, not cloud saves.
