Suggestion to MS for better account tools for BOTH support AND curstomers

A recent technical gaff on Microsoft's account system left me with a large portion of my balance disappearing. Almost 2 months later, a few escalations, and finally talking to a supervisor I was able to have my issue proven and verified but could only get
a portion of what I lost because of the system in place.

One part of the problem was that I threw away my MS gift cards after they WERE SUCCESSFULLY redeemed - those codes were vital to them being able to proceed past certain submissions. The worst part however is that Microsoft's own staff did not have access
to see this, but finally a supervisor did have the tools to see that the amounts were in fact deposited. Due to a possible bug, the supervisor was not even able to validate the serial numbers of those cards but through yet another tool her subordinates did
not have access to, was at least able to see that the amounts of those cards were in fact deposited to my account

Another problem is that account tools show purchases and Xbox rewards credits deposited but does not show deposits/redemptions of gift cards or promo credits (such as bing reward codes) on the customer's end. In a case like mine it makes it impossible to
audit/reconcile the amount I was missing when something does go wrong.

In the end I was only able to recoup about half of what I lost because of limits and protocols of their system in place, but having a simple tool that shows all the account details as well as a tool that could show the balance after EVERY transaction and
deposit could make life easier for everyone on both ends of the problem and even avoid some calls in the first place. Customers aside, For a company this advanced it's almost shameful that they leave their own staff to having to waste their time on calculators
or pencils and papers rather than a simple algorithm as a tool to make their jobs a little more simplified and productive
