Suggestion: SmartGlass and Download Status

Discus and support Suggestion: SmartGlass and Download Status in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; It would be great if I could see my apps download status in the SmartGlass app. Downloads take awhile and it stinks to have to keep going to the...     It would be great if I could see my apps download status in the SmartGlass app. Downloads take awhile and it stinks to have to keep going to the basement to see if I can play yet.

    That's an interesting suggestion.

    You should definitely head to the Xbox Feedback site and post that there:
    http://xbox.uservoice.com

    You can do a search first to see of someone has created a similar idea already; if not, feel free to go ahead and make it yourself.

    The dev teams read through that daily and you never know, your idea may get implemented in future Suggestion: SmartGlass and Download Status :)

    Xbox One Smartglass Crashing

    Hey there RedDeathSquad!

    Sorry to hear about the crashing issue. What version of the SmartGlass app is downloaded to your iPod? You can check the version from your SmartGlass app by going to Settings and then scrolling to the bottom of the screen. The version number will be right
    above the What's new section. Let's see what we can do to help get this issue sorted.

    Please give the following steps a try:

    • Try deleting and reinstalling the SmartGlass app again by pressing on the SmartGlass app and pressing the X in the left hand corner.
    • Select Delete and then from the App Store, search for SmartGlass.
    • Select Xbox One SmartGlass and press the Cloud icon in the right corner to download the app.
    • Once the SmartGlass app is downloaded, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for 10 seconds.
    • As soon as your iPod powers on, try loading the SmartGlass app.

    Give the suggested steps a try and let us know if you are still continuing to experience the SmartGlass app crashing.
