[Suggestion]Headset

Hi guys,

could you suggest me some good headsets (5.1) wirless for xbox one?

I have read that you can find only wirless headset between the console and the headset but you are forced to connect the headset to the pad for talking with your friends.

is that right?

If this is right, at this point i could also think to by simple wired headest paying less and having a better quality.

It really all depends on what you want from the headset. My advice would be to set yourself a budget and shop around. Polk are good but from what I understand, they have been known to flat out easily. The best I have had are Turtle Beach and like I always
say, if you look after them, they look after you.

Headset suggestions

I wanna get a new head set for the X1 with decent quality audio and chat options but I don't want to pay the equivalent of a car payment in the process (Astro's headsets I'm looking at you). The brands I'm familiar with Turtle beach and Afterglow but my
experience with both has been so-so at best. I've read about the Polk audio headsets but reviews either love them or hate them. Any info is appreciated guys.

 

As far as I know there are no completely wireless headset for the Xbox One . The Headset coming out by Turtle Beach and Polk Audio still use a wire to the controller . You will need a adaptor to use even a wired headset and there is no official word on when
this will be available. I'm using Turtle Beach XP500 and they work great . I had to splice Xbox One headset cable and a Turtle Beach cable (the 2.5mm plug end) together for chat , the cable is so light you almost don't feel it's presence. What ever Headset
you go with make sure it has a optical in connection for your sound .

 

I use Astros mine r the 2011 A-40's and I love them they plug in by USB for power and optical the mix amp makes 5.1 so I get 5.1 on the xboxone also they r very comfy and u can make then wireless by getting the wireless mix amp

 

there are no wireless heasets yet. i'm waiting for one that has chat
