Suggestion for Xbox One

You know on Xbox 360 how when you pressed the glowing button a little guide would come up? Why not make that the same for Xbox One? It would make it easier to send messages using that than going to your home screen finding the messages app and so on!

Suggestions...for Xbox One

Hello Everyone,

I recently watched a video from Angry Gamer about the Xbox One reveal. There was a segment he mentioned I wanted to touch upon specifically where Microsoft wants to incur a fee on used games that are played on someone else's machine. I want to open the
platform if it hasn't already for open and constructive suggestions not just for this feature, but others as well that many gamers may have a problem with. Going back to the fee, what I think should happen if someone is lent a game, is there should be popup
or notification that alerts the original owner that another machine is playing their game, and to allow or deny access. In that sense the player, who most likely is the friend of the original owner can try out the game themselves and determine if they want
to purchase it or not. It also brings a defensive mechanism where if that game was stolen the owner can deny access and the player would then get locked out of the game or incur the fee, what have you.

I think this is a big deal for many loyal customers of Microsoft's Xbox, I hope this get to them in some way.

How about you guys? Are there other concerns or suggestions for the way they are implementing Xbox One?

 

Suggestions for XBox One

Well PK I didn't really think of that. But as Ripp said they could make the option to turn it on or off. I'm just thinking cause ai don't have a ton of friends that game as much as me and just posting your gamertag on a forum for a game may get outdated.
Something that is in real time and incorporated into the device would be, I think, useful to not only me but a lot of people like me.

Or... PK... what if it also incorporated a trial period? Like add this person for 2 weeks and then prompts you to permanently add them to your friends? Or just remove them if your not meshing.

I do appreciate the whole getting random requests from people aspect. But at the same time they are advertising it as the all in one aspect of it and why not make it a more immersive social experience?

I loved the XBOX 360 controller layout, and it's epic functionality, I really don't see why Microsoft doesn't import that over to the XBOX ONE controller.

 

You kidding? The One controller is better in most respects (IMO, of course)! The face buttons are closer, it feels better, it's got rumble triggers, etc. The ONLY thing I miss from the 360 controller was the non-traditional D-pad that worked great for fighting
games.

 

^^Its possible that the person above could ve talking about something different. Like controller settings. Being able to switch your button layout, disable vibration, and stuff like that is a feature I see alot of people wanting.

 

Hello everyone

(1) Master Off switch for vibrations in the console set-up options

(2) Play your own music ANY TIME you want to (like the Xbox 360) via the songs stored in your HDD or your portable music device

(3) A notification that your someone who is in your Friend's List has just gone on-line. (I apologize in advance if this is already available, sorry guys)
