suggestion for gamer tag changes

i just recently spend $9.99 to change my gamer tag and after doing so i realized i didn't really like part of my gamer tag so i went back to change it but little did i know i would have to pay another $9.99 to change it again. I'm just writing here to make
a suggestion that after you purchase a new gamer tag that you have a time frame where you can go back and change it. it doesn't have to be anything long like 24 hours but at least a few hours so that you can play a few games and see if you actually like that
gamer tag that you've chosen because honestly if I'm spending $9.99 to change my gamer tag I should like it and not have to be 100% positive I'm gonna like that first gamer tag i changed it to.

Help with changing gamer tag

i want to change my gt to TidalSnow but someone else has already got it and I don't want to replace one of the letters with numbers so if someone could suggest how I change it up a bit to use it that'd be great.

I've tried it with a space between as Tidal Snow but someone's got that too.

I disagree completely. Although the price is a little steep you should be able to visualize your new tag before you're financially obligated. You are under no time constraints to complete the transaction.

Your gamer tag was deemed inappropriate or offensive and they changed it because it violated the code of conduct.

You can argue to your blue in the face but you wont get the gamer tag name back.

If you are wondering why you didn't get a free name change you can blame the people that abused the system by just changing the gamertag to another offensive or inappropriate gamer tag.

So I suggest you let it go and either use the gamer tag you were given or buy some points and change it to an appropriate gamer tag that will not violate the code of conduct.

Sounds like you may have changed your nickname or gamer tag? I would suggest you login to your Xbox account and verify all your account details. If you updated your gamer tag you may be trying to login with the old tag and need to change that.

My best suggestion is to log into your fathers account, Change the gamer tag, and then assign it to your new account.
