    Sugar problems


    Last Friday my mom tipped over a bottle of Coca-Cola on my xbox, it turned of right away (might be because the bottle fell on the power button), after that I unplugged the power cable.

    Yesterday I tried turning it on but after 5 seconds it turned of and wouldn't turn on again, after a couple of hours I plugged the power cable in again, but the same thing happened.

    I didn't smell any smoke or hear any sparks, so my friend is advising me to pour water in it and allow it to dry for a couple of days (also us a hair dryer), because he thinks the problem right now is that the sugar from the Cola is blocking the xbox from
    working....

    I don't have anymore warranty, so should I do it, or does this sound to ridiculous.....

    No I have spent 60+ hours building a city so I don't want to restart. Why can't you destroy already made bookshelves and use them?

    Pouring water into electronics is never a good idea. You would need to try sending it into Microsoft (they still do repairs out if warranty but for a fee) or get a new console.

    Don't pour water over it. That will destroy it. Even if you don't turn it on, the water could cause small deposits on the circuit board giving you problems. If I were you I would send it in to Microsoft...alternatively you could try to clean it yourself
    with some Isotropyl alcohol. Because I can't tell you to open your console, I can suggest that you use that instead of water. It dries faster, and won't leave deposits on your circuit board. Also let it dry.

    Something like this should either be sent in to be repaired or replaced with a new model. Never try self repair on the console and never take chances with any type of electronic device if it's gotten wet. Using it without having it repaired or replaced
    may cause a fire.

    If you have already destroyed all of the sugar cane in your world, no more will appear. It generates automatically only once--when your map was created (the only other way to get sugar cane is by planting sugar cane). If you have already explored your
    entire world and there is no more sugar cane that you have not already destroyed, then you will have no sugar cane in your world (and as a result, no maps, bookshelves, cake, compass, etc).
