Suffix numbers and account recovery?

Hello, the gamertag is being asked for later in process. The recovery process is asking for the gamertag and he has tried and failed with what he is sure is the correct information but is not sure if he’s being denied because he’s imputing the gamertag without the suffix # and numbers.

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forums, it does state in the
Gamertag update FAQ that the gamertag will showup a bit differently.

"We will also auto-format the gamertag to show the suffix subtly in a different font so focus will be on the name you chose but the suffix will always be shown."

So the suffix will still show, but it will be shown in a different font so it does not take away much attention from the actual Gamertag.
