    Sudoku is broken


    Is anyone listening at MS? Several posts report recurring shutdowns - mid-game, start of game. May or may not be related to ads. It worked for a couple of days last week but now back to broken. Most affected is the daily challenge.

    Problem with access to Sudoku

    I have the exact same problem. I have uninstalled & reinstalled with no result. I can click on the green xbox button in the upper right hand corner of Sudoku and be signed into xbox without any problem. I can exit Sudoku, sign into xbox, and punch the
    "play Sudoku" button, which initiates Sudoku, but Sudoku still says it cannot connect to xbox.

    I have on a couple of occasions seen a message momentarily when I first initiate Sudoku that seems to imply that this is a new version of Sudoku and you don't have to sign into xbox to play it. But then I don't have any history
    of my playing Sudoku over the past 4 years. The message disappears before I can study it. Is there a new version of Sudoku that is causing my problem?

    Game closes randomly and consistently

    Game shuts down consistently, but at random times. Can never complete all the days games and some days it opens and closes right away. It's broken. Also it is really in need of an upgrade. Please tell us if you have abandoned Sudoku
    or are going to fix it?

    And what's broken about it? What platform are you playing on? Are you getting an error? We could assist in help troubleshooting if we had some more details about the error you're seeing.
    Windows 10 … latest everything. This is an old, old, old problem and every thread gets "closed" after a few people say something about it. There is no problem with Microsoft Casual Games and no problem with Microsoft Solitaire … but Sudoku is broken …
    Minesweeper is iffy but Sudoku is really broken. No one understands why it cannot be fixed.

    I agree. The new version of Microsoft Sudoku is rubbish!! Please bring back the old version and remember - if something isn't broken, don't fix it.

    I have been reading about Sudoku being broken for a long time. It works and then it does not. I have updated, uninstalled, reset and every other thing suggested by the many, many people that keep saying the same thing.

    The app is broken. I have uninstalled it because when you click on the app it comes up … circles for a while and then disappears. It is broken.

    My Windows 10 is always up to date and the apps are up to date as well.

    Sudoku and Minesweeper do the same things. No problem with the Live Xbox apps … solitaire and ultimate word games. No problems at all.

    Apparently, it is NOT we users that are the problem.
