Sudoku game board frozen

Try this (Reset App Data)

This will delete your progress but it will sync back after re-launching if you are playing the game while signed in on Xbox Live. before.

Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Click Microsoft Sudoku > Advance options > Reset

After 5 1/2 months of playing (and completing) Sudoku Daily Challenge with ads covering the boards they're finally gone. Its almost too easy now.

have you tried running the game Not in Fullscreen? i had an issue with the Sudoku game where the ad would appear to the left of the normal spot and it covered the top right section of the game board. i had to resize it until only the game board showed,
and none of the normal menu on the right. perhaps if you resize it differently it wll adjust to a useable shape. of course that's just a temporary workaround, but until they fix it, it's worth a shot.

I subscribed to the Solitaire Collection a couple of months ago and I've been playing Sudoku quite a bit since then. The last several days I've been plagued with latency. After starting a new game the screen was frozen for 1:19 seconds before I could use
either the keyboard or pen. The fact that the clock continues to run while the game is frozen increases my frustration tenfold. I know my pen isn't the issue because I can use it without an issue to open other menus while the Sudoku game remains frozen.

This is an unsatisfying experience for paying customers. I mean you wouldn't want us to pay for our subscription by sending you a nickel a day. Please either remove the ads or fix it so they don't impact the player experience. IMHO paying subscribers should
have the option to close the ad panel. WE PAID YOU TO PLAY THE GAMES. In case you're unaware, making paying customers angry isn't a good business model.

This happens to me all the time on the Sudoku also, especially on the daily challenges. It will lock up, but the timer is still going and I can do other things on my computer and even move my mouse, just can't click anything on the playing board.
