Suddenly unable to connect to Xbox live only on my Xbox 360

well, I'm at my wits end. I've gone through all the troubleshooting of deleting the cache, restarting the console, cycling my modem/router combo, shutting the whole network down for 15min including my xbox and nothing works. I've been running wired but wireless
doesn't work either. What's worse is that it was a catastrophic fail while playing using xbox live to play Destiny. I have 4 xbox 360's connected to this network and all are working but mine. I have the Call of Duty MW3 edition xb360 for clarification.

Rare Replay

Anyone else unable to sign into xbox live when playing the 360 games?

When pressing both the Menu and View buttons to bring up the mini guide it just says connect to xbox live.

 

Internet works, Xbox Live doesn't. Help requested.

So now that I've been unable to connect to Xbox Live (wired connection, never failed before) since Friday night, I decided to try a few of these "tricks". Now I can't even recover my gamertag (after deleting the profile only) from my 360 because I'm STILL
UNABLE TO CONNECT to Xbox Live. Good times pause not.

 

Can't connect to xbox live on 360 also at the moment! Everything else like xbox one is working.

 

I ran the Xbox live test again and got a couple different values in the Error Status Report this time.

Not sure what those mean but I was wondering if there could be an issue where the MAC address for the console is flagged on Microsoft servers. I can log into my account on other consoles but this console won't connect to Xbox live regardless of the acct
logged in to it.

 

So I've done some investigating while trying to wait patiently for an answer and it looks like that "Z" code is the problem. Anything other than 0000-0000 is a suspension/ban and I believe mine is due to the random updates coming from the update testing
program I recently cancelled. Had I know this we're going to be a problem, I wouldn't have signed up to begin with. Really frustrating honestly. I never do anything against the code of conduct either for my account or my console. I shouldn't be punished at
all, much less during thanksgiving weekend, because of this garbage.

 

This is a joke. From what you just said it must have to do with cancelling receiving preview updates with xbox 360 as I just recently also cancelled to receive them also, so it looks like I have no live on my 360 until next official update!

 

I'm going to try downloading the most recent official update and see if it'll take on my console. Not sure of the link but it came right up when I googled Xbox live usb update download.

 

No luck with that either. Apparently the Early Access Program has their own set of forums and need to be contacted directly about all of this. I'm not entirely sure how to do that yet tho.

I can't even access those forums, tho I was able to view yours. I got a link from the Twitter support guys that I've tried and hope to have some success with. I'll keep an eye on both and message you if I have better luck. ;-)

 

A lot of players with both consoles have had this problem. Most have been solved just by redownloading your profile on your 360. Let me know if you need help doing this. Sorry it took me so long to get to you.

 

Also, try this: Go to Settings, System, Network, select your network, choose Configure Network, go right to Additional Settings, then Restore to factory defaults. Reboot the console, then Test Xbox Live Connection again.
