    Sudden XBox One Controller Sensitivity Changes


    Please could someone help? I have had this issue 2 times before - it is not a controller issue - as I have bought multiple controllers - updated them, reset the system etc, something has occurred behind the scenes....

    My controllers are suddenly extremely "fast" they overshoot the target and within game I will try and reduce the sensitivity to the lowest setting but it does not help. FPS games are unplayable - I will move the controller slightly and it will shoot past the object very quickly. This has occurred before and is referenced here:

    The issue magically resolved itself after a few weeks and I'm wondering if someone from Microsoft did that change - if so, I need your help again!

    If you have any suggestions I am glad to take them - for example should I get my system repaired and where? PLEASE don't suggest getting a new controller as I have done that; as well as performed different tests with multiple different controllers. Thank you for your help!

    Access Contact us | Xbox Support, follow the instructions after clicking on the green button "Contact us" and choose to get help either from an online chat agent or request a callback. Make sure the region on the support website is set to your correct region in order not to find issues with the steps.

    I 100% believe this is not a hardware problem, check my last posting it got resolved after a system update - while I would gladly pay for a hardware repair if that was the true issue - I think you are just giving a boilerplate template answer to an issue. The price is $275 and I would pay it in a second if I felt comfortable that you knew what you were doing.

    Xbox 360 controller too sensitive

    The Xbox 360 controller is not customisable like the Xbox One controller is. You cannot change it's sensitivity. Your best bet is to calibrate it as DominumStige said.

    Hi. Maybe the Xbox 360 backwards compatibility has a bit of a change for the controlling. Not sure about it, but I think for example, when controlling with a Xbox One controller, they are different from the Xbox 360 controller since they do not have the
    same sensitivity. It's just how it is.
