Sudden urge to reminisce

Memorys of growing up as a kid, when it was first said to be the coolest thing ever when PlayStation first announced that they were bringing online play to the then ps2 console. On my dial up connection I remember always getting yelled at because I was using
the phone line and battling with my parents because me and my "online buddy" spent countless hours and a whole summer on socom navy seals.Haha I remember the first online maddens, there was nothing like it, then again it was before people purposely tried to
lag to cheat wins( something else I don't understand because if you're not that good, you'll be exposed anyways) Certain songs that I hear remind me of those good times because I honestly credit gaming for a great brining up that I had and I often miss this
feeling. When things weren't so complex, when people were just loving gaming for what it is..gaming. I never understood how someone could think someone is dumb because of what they prefer to game on, that's ridiculous. Btw who remembers the original Xbox and
the nfl fevers? Lmao. Fun times.

Anyways I say all this to say, when the titan fall bundle comes out I'm praying to have the same feeling that I did when they first brought out the ps online and I hope everyone who already has the Xbox one that doesn't enjoy it to try and be a lil more
patient and enjoy your gaming. I'll be having my account gold once again once I get this bundle. If anyone wants to play a few games, I know I'll be on titan fall and probably a sports game onthe 11th for sure.

Slower than usual?

Not much for the sports side of things, but I am all about gaming. If you get Titanfall, I'll play with ya.

 

I'm terrible at 2K, but I'll definitely play Madden against you. You can add Titanfall as well.

 

OMG...... I remember getting the first sneak peak of Doom from ID games on my dads IBM PCjr..... It kept me up at night! The growling and the brick walls!!! It was on CD!!!!

 

I remember playing NFL2k1 on the dreamcast, and having to use a keyboard to chat.

 

The last "sports" game I truly enjoyed was
Mutant League Football on the Sega Genesis - now there was a sports game!

 

I remember growing up on madden football....One year my mom bought me Jimmy Johnson football because the guy at the gamestore said it was the next big thing. She was too excited about it so I couldn't tell her how bad it was. The game did grow on me, but
there was no replacement for madden.

As I posted earlier Metal Gear solid was my first real campaign game. NBA Jam, 007 single player, streets of rage, double dragon, road rash!!

 

I also grew up during the Tony Hawk era.

 

Tony hawk games lol, I remember catching a whole lot of air and just mashing buttons lol

 

All my friends who got a One early, really don't play it alot or have negative things to say about it. Makes me glad I waited before dropping that money. It seems MS is fixing things for Titanfall. I'll be online to see it!

 

I mean, I don't get into the argument because if people haven't noticed that the last six or so years that anytime new electronic devices end up messed up during the first couple of months then that's on them.
