Sudden Lag Spikes in the Xbox One S

I have recently noticing lots of lag spikes in all of my games, to the point of the screen freezing for a solid 2 seconds, i have run Troubleshooter, i have done many power cycles, and it won't stop lagging, it's becoming harder for me to play like this.

It has all started after a update, that now shows a "Syncing Data with Account" blah blah blah screen when i open a game, im getting sick and tired of all the lag, i have even turned on my AC to check if it was overheating and it wasn't, im expecting a fix as soon as possible to this problem.

Anybody with the same problem as me here?

The crashing or freezing of a certain game/apps is generally related to the network which is why I will provide you with the official link to all the troubleshooting steps that can help sort this out for you. Before going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned on the link I was referring to, I would like you to go through the following steps to clear your Mac address and perform a quick power cycle:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

Funny how I haven't had this issue on my xbox one x ever but when I go on my xbox series S then it just starts having the lag spike issues with my captures.

Yeah, lag spikes, rubber banding and timing out from Xbox live since update.

I have a theory that those with a One S are having issues based on what I am seeing among my friends.

Try switching the ipv6 or unplug the router for 30 seconds.

I remeber using a ethernet cable on Xbox 360 and they arent the greatest to use because the download speeds are horrible and the WiFi and ping wasnt great. I recommend you just use a outlet surge protector like i use, plug in the Xbox One power cable and
the HDMI cord, and play the Xbox One using the WiFi from your router.
