Sudden Controller lag/excessive acceleration

I have had the series x for awhile and recently had sudden issues with input lag from my controller where I can't aim properly and the acceleration speed seems way high so I checked my controller settings for the Xbox and games and reset them to default but no luck so I tried another controller and still the same problems so from there I did a Xbox reset but save the games (because I already tried unplugging and plugging stuff back in) so I'm still having problems and can't seem to find anyone with similar so to sum it up playing was "hell let loose" and it suddenly stopped working properly and nothing is fixing so far
