    Sudden change in the quality of my connection


    Basically, 3 days ago my connection was perfect, heard friends clearly, games wouldnt judder and i could find matches easily. Now all of a sudden i have connection which "stutters", which makes some games unplayable and hearing my friends a very difficult
    task.

    I have a BT Home Hub 3, average 15mpbs download, 5 upload and 20 ping. My router channel is on automatic, dmz is open, I am using wireless instead or wired however previously my connection was perfect so i dont see why it would suddenly change.

    I've checked devices connected to my router and checked if they're downloading which they are not, and on every other device connection seems to be perfect.

    I have cleared my xbox cache, restarted my router after waiting 30 seconds, changed channels, cleaned my xbox, port forwarded my xbox, practically everything i could think of which would make my connection do this. Any ideas?

    somehow, no idea, it changed overnight to 480p resolution, put it back to 1080p

    Have you checked your Video Settings (under System Settings> Display)?

    Never. Far too many variables!

    Variables Definition.

    1) able to change: able or liable to change, especially suddenly and unpredictably. (Such as DRMs, and as we ALL KNOW. The community has already spoken on that)

    2) inconsistent: inconsistent or uneven in quality or performance. (Ever hear of corrupted files, or even Hard Drive failures? With Disks you don't get those:)

    3) fickle: inconstant and *capricious* (*given to sudden changes: tending to make sudden unexpected changes) in nature or character.

    both your console and adapter in the back have to be set to your resolution, for future reference ( i know this will be bumped in like 2 years so might as well answer now)
