Sometimes achievements can be delayed, It's just a cloud sync error. I once had a friend get his 6 weeks later. You may want to try power cycling the console and checking recent achievements to make sure it's not in there.

Thanks for replying to keep us updated. Generally speaking, it can take up to 72 hours for the achievements to appear (sometimes longer) depending on your connection to Xbox Live. If you'd like, give the troubleshooting steps from the article Problems
