    Subscription troubles


    So every time i go to start a game my xbox tells me i dont have gold, despite purchasing another 12 months back in February. i try to access my subscription page on my xbox, as well as on xbox.com and microsoft.com, and none of them show me anything. they
    usually just say " Something happened on our end, and we can't show all the data at the moment. Waiting a bit might help." Does anyone know whats going on?

  2. Gold Subscription Trouble

    So we use our Xbox all of the time and purchase games and movies so it not uncommon to see charges to our account. However, we have not made any purchases in some time so I caught a charge I had never noticed before and after finally tracking it down I found
    out that I had been paying for a Live Gold Membership for sometime without my knowledge. I canceled the subscription and contacted customer support to see if at any chance I could get a refund for a service I was paying for but never used. I did not get any
    email notifications because my email set up for the Xbox is only used for sign in purposes and most purchases are done through my husbands account so that is where we get notifications which is one this last one caught our attention finally. After discussing
    this with Reiner at Customer Support (who was awesome by the way) found out that there was nothing to be done about getting a refund because your system wouldn't allow it, even for the very last charge which was pending in my account until this morning. There
    is something wrong with that, simply put. I would love all my money back but as I can imagine it was user error at some point that is obviously off base but at least the most recent ones should be workable! I would love your feedback on this to see if there
    is anything that can be changed about this policy to give more power to your customer service reps to be able to help in certain situations instead of leaving them with their hands tied. Thank you.

    Heya, let's try refreshing the profile on the console by

    removing then re-adding
    it. Once you have done this check if you are able to access your subscription like normal. If you are unable to do so please reach out to the
    chat/phone team so they can take a closer look at the issue with you.

    I'm afraid you'll have to contact your bank for assistance on cancelling the charges. Without access to the account where the charges is being taken from, there's no way to cancel it on Microsoft's end.
